<p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objectives</strong>: This study aimed to identify the indicators of charismatic personality among school principals in the Negev, in addition to investigate the significance of statistical differences in charismatic leadership indicators according to the educational qualification, years of experience, and type of school.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methods</strong>: The descriptive approach method was used. The charismatic leadership scale was applied on a simple random sample of 188 male and female school principals in the Negev.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: The results of the study showed that the level of charismatic leadership among the school principals in the Negev was high. Additionally, there were differences in the means of charismatic leadership attributed to educational qualification in favor of PhD holders, as well as differences due the years of experience, in favor of long experience.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Conclusion</strong>: The study provided several recommendations, including the need to provide workshops and academic programs that could enhance leadership traits among educators. <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objectives</strong>: This study aims to identify the role of both government and private kindergarten teachers in developing children's life skills, recognizing that kindergarten is often the child's first formal educational experience, it plays a crucial role in laying the foundation not only for academic success but also for the development of essential life skills.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methodology</strong>: The study utilizes the descriptive-analytical approach, on a simple random sample, consisting of 234 teachers from both government and private kindergartens in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: The results show that the average of the role of kindergarten teachers in developing life skills for children is 4.50, and a high level. The health skills domain ranked first, while the emotion regulation skills domain ranked last. The results also indicates that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the role of kindergarten teachers in developing life skills for children, due to: academic qualification and the number of years of teaching experience.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Conclusion</strong>: The study recommends providing intensive training programs for kindergarten teachers on how to teach life skills to children, and conducting longitudinal studies to follow up on the impact of life skills development programs on children.</p>Najla S. <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objective</strong>: The current study aimed to investigate the extent to which the principles of Pragmatism philosophy are practiced by faculty members in the College of Education at Yarmouk University. It also sought to determine whether there are statistically significant differences in their average performance based on gender, academic rank, and the department in which the member teaches.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methodology</strong>: The study employed a descriptive methodology based on an observation card, with a sample comprising 44 faculty members.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: After using appropriate quantitative and statistical methods, the study found that the sample's level of practice of the principles of pragmatist philosophy was high across all dimensions, including student roles, teacher skills, instructional methods, and the educational environment and its utilization. Additionally, it revealed no significant statistical differences between the sample's average scores based on the defined variables.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Conclusions</strong>: According to the results obtained, the study sample demonstrated a high application of the principles of Pragmatism philosophy. <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Abstract</strong>: The current study aimed to explore the perceptions of kindergarten teachers regarding the impact of digital technology on the behavior of preschool children in the Palestinian context.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methodology</strong>: Employing a qualitative methodology with a personal experience design. Six experienced kindergarten teachers participated, chosen purposefully for their expertise in preschool education. The study utilized both in-depth and semi-structured interviews to gather data that couldn't be accessed through other means.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>:The results concluded that there are numerous negative effects on preschool children as a result of using digital technology. However, its use also has some positive impacts in the field of education. The teachers' perceptions were formed around five main themes: the impact of digital technology on children's social interaction, the positive and negative effects of digital technology on children's behavior, and how digital technology can be used to promote positive behavior.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Conclusion</strong>: The study recommended further investigation into the challenges of using digital technology at this age and its impact on the development of children's skills and behaviors.</p>Manal Abdullah Saadeh

<p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objectives</strong>: The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of the mental arithmetic strategy on working memory capacity among students with difficulties learning arithmetic in Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methods</strong>: In order to achieve the goal of the study, the researcher used the experimental method with a quasi-experimental design,where the study was applied to a sample consisting of 40 4th grade students. The sample was divided into two groups, one of which was experimental and consisted of 20 students، and the other was a control group that consisted of 20 students. To achieve the purposes of this study، the researcher used an achievement test in the arithmetic lessons found in the arithmetic book for the fourth grade. The test consisted of essay and objective questions، and the objective questions consisted of 10 multiple-choice and essay-type items.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (a ≤ 0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group and the control group due to the teaching method (mental arithmetic strategy and the usual method) in the total score of the achievement test in favor of the experimental group، and the existence of a statistically significant relationship between the teaching strategy And working memory capacity for students with arithmetic difficulties in the experimental group.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Conclusions</strong>: In light of the previous results , the researcher recommended giving arithmetic lessons to various levels using the mental arithmetic strategy ,and working to train students to use the mental arithmetic strategy during the students’ basic education stages.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"> </p>Kafia Muhammad Shuqur

<p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objectives</strong>: The current study aimed to reveal the level of psychological depression among battered women in the Gaza governorates.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methodology</strong>: To achieve the study's objectives, the researcher used the Beck Depression Inventory (1984), and the study sample consisted of 387 battered women in the Gaza governorates.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: The results of the study showed that the total score of the depression scale had an arithmetic mean of 33.315, indicating severe depression. The results also showed statistically significant differences attributed to the citizenship variable, with citizen women experiencing higher depression levels than refugee women. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences related to marital status, favoring married women, and educational level, favoring illiterate women who are not proficient in reading and writing. The results also indicated statistically significant differences attributed to income level, with very low-income women showing higher depression levels. Furthermore, statistically significant differences were found related to family nature, favoring those who live in extended families.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Conclusions</strong>: The study recommended combating silence and not tolerating violence, especially by women themselves, raising their awareness to not accept violence directed at them, and encouraging them to report any abuse they experience. It also emphasized the importance of making appropriate decisions and taking responsibility for them by providing necessary support, improving awareness of their rights and dignity, and providing psychological and social skills to prevent and deal with violence. <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objectives</strong>: The study aimed to Explore the relationship between the counseling alliance, and withdrawal from psychological counseling among adult counselors in mental health centers.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methodology</strong>: The researchers followed the descriptive, correlational methodology, The study's measures were applied to a purposive available sample, which included 117 male and female adult counselors from mental health centers in Palestine.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: The results indicated that the levels of the counseling alliance, and withdrawal from psychological counseling were average. In addition, the results showed a statistically significant negative correlation between the counseling alliance and withdrawal from psychological counseling among adult clients in mental health centers, indicating that as the level of the counseling alliance increased, the level of withdrawal from psychological counseling decreased.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Conclusion</strong>: Among the recommendations is the necessity of sharing the study results with mental health centers to work on developing psychological specialists and reducing the rates of withdrawal from psychological counseling.</p>Nida’ Mazin Awad, Ahmad Abdellatif Abdelrahman Abu Asad

<p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objective</strong>: The study aimed to assess the level of research skills and their relationship with the use of digital search engines among students of psychological and educational counseling in the graduate studies program at al-Quds Open University. It also aimed to identify the nature of differences in each of them based on variables such as age, academic year, and cumulative GPA.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methodology</strong>: To achieve this, a descriptive correlational method was employed by administering the study's scales to a sample of 50 male and female students majoring in psychological and educational counseling at al-Quds Open University during the academic year 2023/2024.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: The results of the study indicated that the level of research skills among students majoring in psychological and educational counseling at al-Quds Open University was high, with a percentage of 91%. Regarding the use of digital search engines, the field of ethics of publication rights came in at a high level with a relative weight of 73%, while the accuracy of digital search engine results was the least common area with a relative weight of 64%.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Conclusion</strong>: The current study recommended the necessity of mastering research skills and awareness of digital research tools and sources among graduate students.</p>Yomna Gamal Abu Zraik, Kamal Abdel Hafeez Salama

<p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objectives</strong>: The study aimed to investigate the levels of self-compassion and self-esteem, and their relationship. The study targeted a sample of wives of prisoners, reaching 95 participants through convenience sampling.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methods</strong>: The study employed a descriptive-correlational method and utilized SPSS for data analysis</p> <p style="direction: ltr;">Results: The results indicated that the level of self-compassion was at 63.0%, with an average rating. The mean scores for participants' responses on the self-compassion scale ranged from 3.72 to 2.55. Self-kindness ranked first with a high rating. The level of self-esteem was at 75.5% with an average rating. There were no statistically significant differences in self-compassion and its domains, attributed to educational level. Except for self-kindness which wasn’t influenced by educational level. Differences were found in the domain of self-kindness favoring employment. The results also showed no statistically significant differences in self-esteem related to educational level and employment. There is a positive correlation between self-compassion and self-esteem, with a Pearson correlation coefficient of .545.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Conclusions</strong>: The study recommends developing counseling programs to enhance self- compassion and self esteem among wives of prisoners with high sentences in West Bank governorates.</p>Areej T. <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objective</strong>: This study aims to identify the symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder and its relationship to Ego Resilience among a sample of diagnosed individuals with Irritable Bowel Syndrome in Irbid.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Method</strong>: The study followed the descriptive correlational approach while the sample consisted of 261 male and female patients who were selected using the available method. The scales of Ego Resilience and Borderline Personality Disorder Symptoms were used after confirming their validity and reliability.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: The results indicated that the level of symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder and Ego Resilience were moderate. <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objectives</strong>: The study aimed to investigate the reality of adaptive leadership among Arab secondary schools principals within the Green Line.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methodology</strong>: The descriptive survey approach was used, and the study sample consisted of 348 teachers. The questionnaire consisted of 18 items distributed in three dimensions, and its validity and reliability were confirmed.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: the study finds that the reality of adaptive leadership among Arab secondary schools’ principals within the Green Line was high. In addition, there was no statistically significant difference in the reality of adaptive leadership among Arab secondary schools’ principals within the Green Line due to gender and the years of experience. In addition, there were statistically significant differences according to academic qualification, for the benefit of Ph.D.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Conclusion</strong>: The study recommends to continuing spreading the adaptive leadership culture among adaptive leadership among schools’ principals within the Green Line, and ensuring the continuation in addition, strengthening of adaptive leadership among schools’ principals by holding courses, seminars, and lectures to develop their adaptive leadership skills.</p>Nasser Mohamad Enain

<p style="direction: ltr;">Objective The study aims to identify the relation between creative learning method in the twenty- first century and the growth of early childhood creativity in private schools of Jerusalem,</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"> Method: The study using the descriptive-relational approach. The study applies the creative learning style scale and the creativity growth scale, on an available sample consists of 100 male and female teachers.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"> Result: The results show that the average for the level of the child’s creative learning style is high and reached 4.13, and the story learning method first, while the activities of the Scamper program in the last place, with high level. The results also show that the average for the level of creativity growth is high and reached 4.26, where the role of the teacher in the first place and the number of activities used in the last place, with a high level. The results show that there are statistically significant differences in the child’s creative learning style in favor of females, and master’s degree or higher, while there are no significant differences due to the years of experience.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;">The results also show that there are statistically significant differences in the growth of creativity in favor of females, while there are no statistically significant differences due to the academic qualification or years of experience. <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objectives</strong>: This study aimed to compare the educational philosophies of John Dewey and Paulo Freire by examining the historical and cultural contexts that shaped their ideas. It also sought to explore the core principles of their educational thought and the characteristics of the educational systems and practices they advocated.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methods</strong>: To achieve the objectives of the study, the historical approach was adopted, which aims to know the historical origins of the development of education for both John Dewey and Paulo Freire, as well as the analytical approach to the philosophical ideas and opinions put forward by both thinkers and the critical approach to them.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: The results showed the difference in the historical circumstances that led to the emergence of Dewey's and Freire's philosophies and the similarity of their critical thought as progressive and reformist for Dewey and revolutionary and liberating for Freire in educating the oppressed. Moreover, the educational philosophy of Dewey and Freire focuses on the social nature of education. It rejects traditional methods of rote and banking education. They also call for giving the learner the opportunity to participate in solving educational problems of a realistic nature, whether it is project-based education, according to Dewey, or dialogical according to Freire. <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objectives</strong>: The study aimed to identify the degree of contribution of artificial intelligence (AI) to emotional intelligence among Palestinian university students</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methodology</strong>: The researchers used the descriptive correlational method, applying the study measures to a random cluster sample consisting of 382 students from Palestinian universities.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: The results showed that the levels of artificial intelligence low, while the level of emotional intelligence was average. The results also indicated a statistically significant correlation between AI applications and emotional intelligence among Palestinian university students, with a positive direct relationship; meaning that as the degree of AI application increased, the level of emotional intelligence also increased. <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objectives</strong>: This study aimed to evaluate the Arabic language textbook for the eighth grade in the Directorate of Education in South Hebron, Palestine, from the perspective of teachers. </p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methodology</strong>: To achieve the study's objectives, the researcher employed a descriptive methodology. The study population consisted of 80 teachers, with a sample of 53 teachers from the Directorate of Education in South Hebron for the 2023-2024 academic year. The study tool was a questionnaire with 55 items divided into five domains, book design and layout, educational objectives, assessment methods, educational content, and instructional activities. The researcher calculated percentages, means, and standard deviations for each domain.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: The results indicated that the overall evaluation of the eighth-grade Arabic language textbook across all domains was moderate. Additionally, there were no statistically significant differences in the evaluation scores attributed to the study variables: gender, educational qualifications, and years of experience. </p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Recommendations</strong>: The study recommended increasing the focus of curriculum planners and designers at the Palestinian Ministry of Education on instructional activities that meet students' needs and interests. </p>Basem Ismail Ata Alsamamra, Inas Aref Saleh Naser

<p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objective</strong>: The study aimed at revealing the development of the content of science textbooks in its all branches, under the establishment of Transjordan until 1940AD.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methods</strong>: by surveying and inventorying all forms of scientific knowledge and the mechanisms for presenting them in the content of science textbooks. The study sample consisted of all science books in their all branches, which were accessed from the School Book Museum. To achieve the objectives of the study, the time periods were divided into two stages, the first one is before establishing Trans Jordan, and the second one in the period from 1921 AD to 1940 AD.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: The findings showed that science textbooks during the period from 1921 AD to 1940 AD focused on presenting scientific knowledge in the form of largely scientific facts and concepts and some life skills and applications. The books focused on presenting facts in the field of biology at a rate of 71.4%, in the field of chemistry 16.0%, and 12.6% in the field of physics. Regarding scientific concepts, their percentages from scientific knowledge forms were 58.0%, 38.0%, and 27.0% in biology, chemistry, and physics, respectively.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Conclusions</strong>: In light of the findings, a set of recommendations were presented, namely conducting future studies that investigate the content of science school books on many scientific and national issues.</p>Ghassan M. <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Objectives</strong>: The study aimed to identify the impact of psychological happiness on improving the mental health of Palestinian martyrs' mothers.</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Methods</strong>: The study population consisted of 178 Palestinian martyrs' mothers from Nablus governorate; they lost their son during the period 2020-2024 as a result of Israeli violations. The study sample included 18 martyrs' mothers from Nablus governorate from various localities such as cities, camps, and towns, representing 10.5% of the study population, they were selected in an intentional manner, due to the similarity of the circumstances of martyrdom, the qualitative method used a phenomenological inquiry method, represented by their experience in dealing with loss through telling their stories, where data was collected in two ways: Firstly, focus groups, and secondly, semi-structured individual interviews one month after the focus group interviews; to conduct a comparative analysis of the results, and to explore themes and interactions that emerge spontaneously from the participants when talking about their experience</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Results</strong>: The results showed that the impact of psychological happiness on improving mental health among Palestinian martyrs' mothers is represented in reducing the effects of psychological trauma, and using defense and adaptation mechanisms that contributed to the individual's possession of psychological happiness, and helped in regulating emotions among Palestinian martyrs' mothers,</p> <p style="direction: ltr;"><strong>Conclusions</strong>: the study recommended that the role of psychological and educational counseling in enhancing the confidence of a martyrs' mothers should be activated.</p>Nadia Murad Hanoun, Fayez Azez Mahamid
