Determinants of the Application of e-Management in the Algerian Environment

The e-Management application is based on a set of determinants, that create the right environment for having a successful application of e-Management. This study addresses the most important determinants that are considered the foundations of electronic management, which also reflects the level of e-readiness in Algeria. The determinants are technological, legal, cultural, economic and social ones.
Through this paper, we try to evaluate thedeterminants of the application of e-Management in the Algerian environment. Also,our study is subject to an international comparison,to obtain recommendations, suggestions, and results to eventually develop those different indicators quantitatively and qualitatively.
The study follows a historical approach. Moreover, Results show that Algeria is making efforts to provide the suitable environment and the right incubators for applying electronicmanagement, through the development and dissemination of the technology of information and communication, but Algeria is still unable to keep with the pace of global developments in this field. The study endswith several recommendations.
