The Strategic Role of Development and Training Strategies in Crisis Management at Gaza Electricity Distribution Corporation: A Field Study

This study aims to identify the reality of development and training strategy at Gaza Electricity Distribution Corporation in Gaza Strip, analyzing the commitment and support of the senior management for implementing and planning training and development strategy programs within a strategic framework. Moreover, the study analyzes the adoption and use of modern technology as a basis for the application of development and training strategy programs. The study also identifies the followed methods and procedures at the company.
To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher developed a questionnaire and was distributed to a random sample that consists of 283 employees working at the company. The most important results of the study show a statistically significant relation with the level of (α≤0.05) between the level of implementing development and training strategy and the reality of crisis management at Gaza Electricity Distribution Corporation.
