An Interpretation of The World Economic Forum Indicators’ Report- A Comparative Study of The Algerian and Moroccan Tourism Experience

This study aims to identify the ways of promoting tourism in Algeria and identifies the various aspects that affect the tourism system. It also contributes to increasing the performance of tourism through a comparative evaluation of the tourism system in Algeria and Morocco. We will present the various indicators that reflect the aspects of tourism performance in each of these countries، based on the report of competitiveness of travel and tourism. This comes in order to determine the strengths and weaknesses that affect Algerian tourism and will help benefit from the Moroccan experience in this field. The study followed the method of descriptive analysis and comparative approach. The results of the study showed that Algeria is making efforts to improve tourism performance. However، it is still lagging behind leading countries in tourism in a number of areas. The study came out with a set of recommendations.
