Human Resources Retention Strategies to Enhance Organizational Performance of the Procurement and Warehouses Management at the Police Department in Abu Dhabi

The purpose of this study was to examine the role of human resource retention strategies (organizational justice, organizational support culture, and empowerment) in enhancing organizational performance. A questionnaire was developed to collect data from the managers at the Department of Procurement and Warehouse in Abu Dhabi Police GHQ. The study has revealed a number of findings most importantly:
- The respondents' perceptions about the human resource retention strategies (organizational justice, supportive organizational culture, and empowerment) at the Department of Procurement and Warehouse were high.
- The respondents' perceptions about the organizational performance at Department of Procurement and Warehouse were high.
- There is a statistical significant impact of human resource retention strategies (organizational justice, organizational support culture, and empowerment) in enhancing organizational performance.
- There is a statistical significant impact of the independent variable (organizational justice) in the dependent variable (organizational performance).
- There is a statistical significant impact of the independent variable (organizational support culture) in the dependent variable (organizational performance).
- There is a statistical significant impact of the independent variable (empowerment) in the dependent variable (organizational performance).
The study concluded with a number of recommendations; the most important of which is to broaden participation in decision-making, activate the delegation process, and access to information which are the most important keys to enable employees to act in situations that they face, and emphasize the importance of human resource retention as one of the strategies that can be adopted by the Department of Procurement and Warehouse in enhancing performance.
