The Role of Personality in Shaping Trends towards Internet and Computer Use among Students of Graduate Studies

The aim of this study is to investigate and measure the postgraduate
student′s attitudes toward the internet and computer use, the present study
sought answers to the following questions: What is the overall profile of
postgraduate student′s attitudes towards the internet and computer use?
Do postgraduate student′s attitudes towards the internet and computer use
differ in term of gender? Do postgraduate student′s attitudes towards the
internet and computer use differ in term of level of income? Do postgraduate
student›s attitudes towards the internet and computer use differ in term of
specialization? A total of (101) postgraduate student participated in the
study، thus the data collected was analyzed using the SPSS 14.8 program.
Results reveal that:
1. participants have a high-level perception of the usefulness of the computer
and internet.
2. no significant differences were found between participants′ attitudes
toward the internet and computer use related to Income, gender,
specialization
