The Role of Technology in Building Smart Organization: Comparative Study Between Hospitals AL Shifa, Suez Canal, Sahelgrenska

The study aimed at identifying the role of technology in building the smart organization with its dimensions (strategic vision, knowledge development, desire for change, collective commitment, performance pressures, regularity and compatibility, the common destiny) , and find out the differences in the response of the respondents according to the variable of hospital, and try to identify the extent of smart hospitals which are the study location. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method and comparative approach. The questionnaire was the main tool for collecting the data in the study. The study population comprised 2387 employees, a random stratified sample was selected from the research hospitals, the study sample included 490 employees where the data was analyzed using the SPSS statistical program. The research results showed that there is a relation statistical significance between technology and constructing a smart organization at Arab hospitals compared with foreign ones under study.
