The Reality of Dairy Production in Palestine from the Perspective of Employees working at the Public Education Sector in Tulkarm

This study aimed at identifying the competitiveness of dairy manufacturing in the Palestinian market. To do so, This study was conducted on the female employees in the public schools for girls in the city of Tulkarm, and the number of these employees was (560). The population of the study was asked to answer a questionnaire out of which 436 were recovered, by ( 78%) . The collected data were processed by the SPSS. Also, means, percentages and standard deviations were employed. The most prominent findings were as the following. Al-juneedi dairy products are the most consumed locally. A great percentage of consumers prefer local dairy products. Consumers, when buying these products, consider quality, taste and production date. Finally, it was found that there are no critical differences in the points of view of the study population as monthly income and place of living vary and this was true for all the aspects of the study.
