Organizational culture and its role in promoting job loyalty among employees in Palestinian ministries

This study aimed to identify the dimensions of organizational culture and
the level of job loyalty of workers in the Palestinian ministries, as well as to
investigate the existence of correlation relationship between organizational
culture and job loyalty, population of the study was staff of some Palestinian
ministries in Ramallah, and the total respondents were 136 employees,
descriptive analytical method was used in this study.
Results showed that responses of the sample study were high on the
bureaucracy and medium to support and creative culture, while employee
loyalty levels moderately, also showed significant and strong correlation
between organizational culture and job loyalty, and show a positive correlation
between dimensions of organizational culture and dimensions of job loyalty
with the exception of a negative relationship between the bureaucratic culture
and continued loyalty and there is no relationship between the creative culture
and continued loyaltyThe study made some recommendations, the most
important were: 1Reduce the bureaucracy at work by giving employees more
flexibility and devolution of powers and enable them.2Create a regulatory
environment encouraging creativity and excellence at work, such as work
competitions and finding an annual award for distinguished employees and
other one for creative employees based on transparent and clear standards.
