The role of administrative leadership in hospitals in the city of Nablus in the application of total quality management from the point of view of its employees

This study aims at identifying the role of the administrative leadership
in applying the Total Quality Management in the Hospitals of Nablus city
according to the employees’ perspectivesAlso, it aims to identify several
variables such as kind of hospital, sex, age group, academic qualification,
work and years of experience Method: For achieving the study purpose, a
questionnaire consisting of (36) items and six domains has been developed,
distributed among of (140) individuals of study sample, gathered, codified,
entered the computer and statistically processed by using the statistical package
of social science (SPSS) Results: The study results show a low degree the role
of the administrative leadership in applying the Total Quality Management in
the Hospitals of Nablus city according to the employees’ perspectivesAlso, they
show that there are no statistical significant differences at (a = 0.05) the role
of the administrative leadership in applying the Total Quality Management
in the Hospitals of Nablus city according to the employees’ perspectives due
to the variables of kind of hospital, sex, age group, academic qualification,
workOn the other hand, are statistical significant differences at the same
level due to the variable of years of experience Recommendations: According
to the study results, several suggestions have been recommended the most
important was the necessity of developing the role of the administrative
leadership in applying the Total Quality Management in the Hospitals
of Nablus city and the necessity of developing the procedures of strategic
planning, organization, communication, workers’ motivation , decision –
making and evaluation towards implementing the TQM.
