The Degree of E- readiness Availability for Internet Banking at Jordanian commercial Banks: analytical study

The aim of this to identify the degree of prepared e- readiness for
internet banking based on a sample of Jordanian commercial banks through
opinions of relevant employees in this field at those banks. To achieve the
objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed and distributed to
a random sample of five Jordanian commercial banks: (Bank of Jordan,
Jordan Kuwait Bank, Arab Jordan Investment Bank, The Housing Bank
for Trade & Finance, and Bank Al Etihad) . (86) individuals returned the
questionnaires from (90) distributed. The results revealed that e- readiness
of internet banking in commercial Jordanian banks is considered ‘good’ in
two dimensions: organizational e- readiness and e- readiness of industry,
while e- readiness of macro environment is medium.
