The Role of Electronic Commerce in Improving the Quality of Acounting Information Systems in the Palestinian Mobile Company (Jawwal)

This study aims at identifying the role of electronic commerce in
improving the quality of accounting information systems in the Palestinian
mobile company (Jawwal) To achieve the study’s objectives, the searchers
have designed a questionnaire which was distributed among the employees in
Jawwal/ Ramallah (20) copies were distributed and (20) were retrievedThat
forms about (5%) of the study populationThe statistic system (SPSS) was
used to analyze the data obtained, and the study came up with a number
of results the most important among which, were that it has increased the
effectiveness of accounting information systems and its ability to achieve
the goals of Jawwal, it has led to a rise in the efficiency of accounting
information with a rise of its outcomes, and it has also enabled the decision
makers to trust this system and depend on itThe study has presented a number
of recommendations the most prominent among which, were developing an
integrated accounting information system depending on a central data base
that can achieve the biggest benefit out of applying the system, achieving a
remarkable speed in exchanging data, to benefit from the services emerging
from the spread of electronic commerce and searching for developed services
whose presentation to customers will guarantee the continuation of the
systems efficiency and effectiveness.
