Abstract

Sovereign wealth funds have become a subject
of growing interest by financial markets, analysts
and policy makers and national legislative bodies
because of constant controversy around it, where the
recipient States harbours concerns about sovereign
funds in light of the increasing size and breadth of
activity and the variety of investment strategies.
These funds have taken an increasing
importance in the international monetary and
financial system, especially after its success in
making many capitals in European and American
banks; even the latest and most important polarity
in the field of money and finance has become
worldwide
This study aims to define the sovereign funds and
highlight their importance and the most important
investment strategies in the future to provide access
in the case of this entry into force of the sources and
as well as to the effects of these funds to the owner
and the host countries have addressed
The study reached a number of results:
♦♦ The sovereign wealth funds invests in real estate,
energy, major industrial enterprises, banks in
addition to the money markets and bonds
♦♦ Sovereign wealth funds a variety of targets,
including the financing of social and economic
development in the royal states of the Fund and
contribute to the development and future states
of the investment funds financed the development
of grassroots structures
♦♦ These sovereign funds depends primarily on oil
revenues
♦♦ Sovereign wealth funds has negative impact on
the economic owner of the funds as well as the
state and the states who have it.
