The Effect of Knowledge Management Processes on Crises Management in the Palestinian Ministry of Education

Objectives: The study aimed at identifying the extent to which knowledge management processes are implemented within the Palestinian Ministry of Education, alongside an assessment of the current state of crisis management among its staff. It further examined the influence of knowledge management practices on crisis management capabilities within the Ministry.
Methods: A descriptive research methodology was employed, and a structured questionnaire comprising 61 items was developed to collect the necessary data.
The research instrument was distributed to the entire population of 560 employees at the Ministry, from which a sample of 229 male and female employees was drawn.
Results: The study showed several significant findings, most notably: respondents demonstrated a moderate level of awareness and application of knowledge management practices within the Ministry. Similarly, the perceived effectiveness of crisis management processes among staff was also at a moderate level.
Conclusions: It is essential to enhance knowledge management processes within the Ministry and to promote their importance among employees at both individual and all administrative levels, considering knowledge as a fundamental factor in increasing. Moreover, the findings indicated a statistically significant positive impact of knowledge managementon enhancing crisis management practices
