The Effectiveness of a Group Counseling Program Based on Logo Therapy to Improve the Self-Image Among People with Motor Disabilities in Sultanate of Oman

Objectives: The study aim to investigate the effectiveness of a group counselling program based on Log Therapy to improve the self-image among people with motor disabilities.
Methods: quasi-experimental approach were used, the study sample consisted of 16 people with motor disabilities divided into two groups, experimental and control groups, the study tools self-image scale and counseling program based on Logo Therapy were used.
Results: The result of the study indicated there were statistically significant differences between the mean rank score of experimental group and control group on the post- test of self-image scale in favor of experimental group, as well as there were no statistically significant differences for the experimental group between the mean rank score of the post and follow up-measurement of self-image scale.
Conclusions: the study demonstrated the effectiveness of the counseling program based on log therapy to improve the self-image of people with motor disabilities. The study recommended to use the program that presented in current study to guide people with motor disabilities to improve self image
