Interpersonal Trust among a Number of Students at Al-Quds Open University in Light of some Variables

This study aimed to identify the level of interpersonal trust in students
at Al-Quds Open University, Tulkarem Branch in the light of variables: sex,
specialty, academic achievement, and place of residence. For this purpose,
interpersonal trust scale was applied on a sample of (220) students. The
results showed that the level of interpersonal trust among the subjects of the
study was moderate, and that there are no statistically significant differences
in the level of interpersonal trust among the subjects due to the independent
variables of the study. Results were discussed in the light of the theoretical and
framework and the researcher proposed several recommendations to strength
social gatherings between the university administration and students, and to
initiate cooperation between the university and local community institutions
in order to increase the level of social interaction among students.
