The Development of the Science Processes Skills among Technology Education Students at Palestine Technical University.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the development of science
process skills among Technology Education students in Palestine Technical
University.The study also aims to investigate the effects of gender and
residence of these students on their skills.Data were collected from (81) male
and female students from the department of Technology Education.In order
to assess the science process skills, the science process skills test was used in
this study; this test has nine skills which contains (18) multiple choice items.
The validity and reliability of the test were confirmed.The study revealed
that the mean of the items in science process skills was (46%) , and skills
were developed between first year and forth year with rate (11.39%) .It also
indicated that there are statistically significant differences due to gender to
the benefit of females.Finally, the study revealed that there are no statistically
significant differences due to residence.
