Assessing Effective Teaching methods at the Isra University from the perspective of the Students in light of with some Variables

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effective University teaching
at Isra University from the students’ point view and its relation with their
gender and study level. The sample of the study consisted of (248) students
selected on purpose, (96) males and (152) females. The Researcher developed
a scale of (25) items, of four points Likert- type. Its validity and reliability
were established. Means, Standard deviations, and t-test, were applied in
analyzing the data.
Results revealed that the mean of students’ assessment of the
effective university teaching was (73.8) less than the accepted
university level (80%). Moreover, no significant differences were
found between the students’ assessment of the effective University
teaching due to the variables of gender or the level of the students at
the university.
The researcher recommends to train the teaching staff in the universities
on various effective teaching strategies.
