The Role of Scientific Research in Developing Education at postgraduate levels in Gaza and proposals for its promotion

Abstract

The study aims to identify the educational researches role in developing

educational process and to make proposals for its activation. A descriptive

approach was used by applying a questionnaire consisted of (50) items which

was applied to (88) university supervisors and officials from the Ministry of

Education and Higher Education.

The results clarified that educational researches role in developing

educational process was medium by (62.46%). The school administration

domain was first by (64.35), and the researches on this dimension have a

greater effect than other domains. Then follows the curriculum domain by

(63.86), teacher development domain by (62.72), educational administration

domain by (62.61), and finally, developing learner level by (58.75).

The results revealed that there are no significant differences in the

evaluations of each of the supervisors of educational researches and the

officials of educational process in the Ministry of Education towards the

reality of educational researches role in developing educational process.

The study provided a set of proposals and recommendations, which

activate educational researches role in developing educational process
