The effectiveness of a training program in developing the verbal expression skills among autistic children in Kuwait city

The present study aimed at verify the effectiveness of a training program in developing the verbal expression skills in among autistic children in Kuwait, and the extent of continuity of the impact of this program on the verbal expressive skills among the members of the experimental group. The sample consists of (8) autistic children aged (9-12) years, were divided into two equivalent groups, control group and experimental group. The study used a measure of verbal expressive skills for autistic children and a training program to develop verbal expressive skills among autistic children in Kuwait. The results of the study indicate the effectiveness of the used program in the developing of the verbal expressive skills among autistic children, with a continuation of the positive effects of the program during the following up period which lasted (10) weeks.
