Abstract

This study aimed at exploring the level of students’ violence among

Balqa Applied University, and whether this level varies depending on

students’ gender and academic specialization .The sample consisted of (267)

students from the Faculty of Huson at Balqa Applied University from the

second semester of the academic year (2013- 2014) from engineering and

education specializations .The study results showed that the level of students’

violence was low, with no significant differences in the level of students’

violence related to the sex factor, but significant differences were found in

the level of students’ violence related to physical factor and sex in favor of

males .Significant differences were found in the level of students’ violence

related to verbal and physical factors related to specialization and in favor

of administrative .
