The Level of Practicing Management by Wandering Around among the Principals of the Schools in the Governorate of Irbid and its Relation to Raising the Morale of the Teachers from their Point of View

The aim of the study aimed at identifying the level of practicing management by wandering around among the principals of the schools in the governorate of Irbid and its relation to raising the morale of the teachers from their point of view. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, a questionnaire was designed that included two parts: management by wandering around, and the level of the morale. The study sample consisted of (1064) teachers at public and private schools in Irbid governorate during the academic year 2016/ 2017. The study found that the practice of management by wandering around by school principals in Irbid from the teachers’ point of view was moderate. The level of morale of the teachers in Irbid was also moderate. The results showed that was a high correlation between the practice of management by wandering around by the school principals and the level of the morale of the teachers In Irbid governorate. The researcher recommends the need to find a clear and binding approach to encourage principals on practicing the techniques of management by wandering around, especially in the fields of communication, motivation, evaluation, development, and feedback.
