Relationship with Stress at Work Motivation of Achievement and Coping Strategies at the Middle School Principals in Batna in Algeria

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between
stress at work andachievement motivation, and the differences depending on
variables (Sex, managerial experience) strategies in confronting stress at
work. The sample consisted of all middle school principals in Batna, during
the 2013/ 2014 academic year, totaling (26) principals. The researcher
relied on the descriptive approach. To achieve the objectives of the research,
the researcher built a form comprises three questionnaires: The first one
measures stress at work, the second the achievement motivation, and the third
the strategies facing stress at work. The researcher used the collected data
analysis based on (Pearson) correlation coefficient, extraction of mediam,
standard deviations, and t- test to see the differences, in addition to the use
of statistical software packages for Social sciences (SPSS) . As a result, the
research found the existence of a positive correlation between stress at work
and the achievement motivation, which was (0.52) . The results also showed
that there is no statistically significant differences among the research sample
or the coping strategies related to gender and management experience; There
were no statistically significant differences among the research sample in
achievement motivation due to the variable sex and managerial experience.
