Abstract

This study aimed to identify the reality of administrative creativity in the Directorate of Education in Aqaba Governorate in Jordan from the view point of its employees. The sample population consisted of the heads of departments and employees in the Directorate of Education in Aqaba Governorate in Jordan comprising 86 individuals, divided into 16 heads of departments and 70 employees (males and females). To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire consisting of 24 items. The results of the study indicated that the reality of administrative creativity in the Directorate of Education in the Governorate of Aqaba from the point of view of its employees was moderate. The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences due to the variable of gender in favor of females. Furthermore, there were statistically significant differences due to the variables of job position and qualifications.
