The Attitudes of the Students towards Arabization of Education at the Faculty of Science at Al-Aqsa University

The aim of this study is to identify some of the dimensions of the issue
of Arabization at Aqsa University and obtaining an accurate and objective
image of the attitudes of the students of the Faculty of Science at the university
towards the Arabization of the higher education and its relationship with the
scientific achievement, the scientific and practical future of the students and
the identity of the nation and its future.
The study sample consisted of (62) male and female students which is the
same number of the study population in accordance with the statistics of the
academic year 20142015-.The researchers designed a questionnaire as tool
to survey the students’ views.It consisted of (64) paragraphs distributed to
four axes.To ensure the reliability of the tool, Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient
was used that amounted to (0.895) .This is high percentage confirms the
reliability of the tool and the possibility of its application.To analyze the data
statistically, the two researchers used the statistical program (SPSS) .The
study results showed that (73.84%) of those who were investigated stressed
the importance of Arabization.Those who stressed its role in keeping the
identity and independence of the nation is (77.38%) .
The study showed that (76.71%) of the students indicated that Arabization
upholds the entity of the Arabic language in their conscience.The percentage
of those who believed that Arabization does not contradict with the scientific
and practical future of the students is (70.35%) .

achievement standard of the student and helps him practice super thinking
skills
