The Effectiveness of a Cognitive Behavioral Program in Reducing the Level of Math Anxiety Among a Sample of Ninth Graders in the Schools of Dura

The study aimed at measuring the effectiveness of a cognitive behavioral counseling program in reducing the level of math anxiety among a sample of ninth grade students in the schools of Dura. The math anxiety scale was applied to the study sample، which consisted of 200 students. The final sample of the study consisted of 24 students who were selected and randomly assigned to two study groups. Each group consisted of 12 students. The experimental group received a cognitive behavioral counseling program، while the second group (control group) did not receive any counseling program. The results showed the effectiveness of the behavioral cognitive program in reducing math anxiety.
