The Impact of Cooperative Concept Maps Strategy on Learning Concepts among Second Grade Students in Science

This study aims to identify the impact of cooperative concept maps strategy on learning concepts among second grade students in science in southAmmanarea. The researchers use the quasi-experimental approach for designing pre-post testing of two groups experimental (27) students and control (24) students, they prepared and adapted lesson plans based on concept maps strategy and special tools (toolkit) made of magnetic material, the students in the experimental group were going to form concept maps after studying the lesson where as the students in the control group studying the lessons in the traditional way. To achieve the aim of the study, the researchers made a test to measure the to measure student's achievement of the mentioned concepts in "The Environment Unit". The study found out that there is a significant difference at (α ≤ 0.05) on concept learning in favor to the experimental group.
