Academic Procrastination and its Relationship to Self- Regulated Learning among Al- Baiyt University Students

The purpose of this study is to investigate
the nature of the relationship between academic
procrastination and self- regulated learning
among Al- Baiyt University students, in addition
to identifying the level of each aspect. The sample
of the study consisted of (561) male and female
students from various scientific and arts specialties.
For the purpose of data collection, two tools were
used: Academic procrastination scale and selfregulated
learning scale. The findings of the study
showed that the level of Academic procrastination
was average while level of self- regulated learning
was high. Finally, the findings showed that there is a
negative correlative relationship between Academic
procrastination and self- regulated learning.
