The Lax Implementation of the School Regulations by the Schools’ Principals at Public Secondary Schools in Jordan, and its Relation to the Job Satisfaction of the Teachers

This study aimed at finding out the level of the lax implementation of the school regulations by the Schools’ Principals at public secondary schools in Jordan, and its Relation to the Job Satisfaction of the Teachers
.The sample of the study consisted of (285) principals,
and (2936) teachers.Two instruments were used to collect data. The first was
to measure the level of principals’ organizational slack, the second was to
measure the level of teacher job satisfaction. The validily and reliability of the
two instruments were measured.
The findings of the study indicated that the level of organizational slack
of public secondary school principals in Jordan, from teachers’ point of
view, was high, where as the level of job satisfaction of public secondary
school teachers in Jordan, from their principals’ point of view, was medium.
Furthermore, there was a significant negative correlational relationship at
(α≤ 0.01) between the level of organizational slack of public secondary
school principals in Jordan, and the level of job satisfaction of teachers.The
