Level of Organizational Citizenship Behavior Among the Faculty in King Faisal University

This study aimed to identify the level of
organizational citizenship behavior among faculty
members at King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia.
The study used descriptive approach, and to achieve
the study aim the research used a questionnaire
to collect data from a stratified random sample of
(205) faculty members selected from King Faisal
University for the academic year (2014/ 2015).
The results showed that organizational citizenship
behavior level of faculty members at King Faisal
University were moderate, also the study found that
there were no statistically significant differences
in the responses of the study sample at the level
of organizational citizenship behavior due to the
difference sex category in all domains except the
altruism domain came to males favor. The results
also showed that the statistically significant
differences of the responses of the study sample at
the level of organizational citizenship behavior due
to the different categories of years of experience
in all domains, and the differences were beside
experience more than (10) years. In light of
study findings, the researcher recommended the
following: encourage organizational citizenship
behavior through workshops and training courses
related and that of workers in the academic and
administrative areas in Saudi universities.
