The Level of Sleeping Disorders among a sample of Syrian Refugees in Jordan in Light of some Variables.

This study aimed at identifying the level of the prevalence of sleeping disorders among a sample of Syrian refugees in Jordan, in light of some variables such as gender, age, social status and education. The sample of the study consisted of (374) refugees. The study utilized sleeping disorder scale after the verification of its validity and stability, in order to achieve the aim of this study. The study also utilized (SPSS) . The results indicated that there was a moderate level of sleeping disorders and suicidal thoughts among a sample of Syrian refugees in Jordan. There were statistical significant differences in the level of sleeping disorders due to the variable of gender in favor of males, and due to variable of age in favor of the age group (15 - 25) , and due to the variable of social status in favor of the single. There weren’t statistical significant differences in the level of sleeping disorders due to the variable of education.
