The degree of practicing the principals of the secondary schools to their supervision tasks in Salfeet Governorat

This study aimed to explore the degree of
practicing the principals of the secondary schools
to their supervision tasks in Salfeet Governorate
from both principals and teachers viewpoint. Also
it aimed to find out whether there were differences
in both principals and teachers responds due to the
variables (Sex, Age, Scientific qualification, Period
of service , and specialization). To achieve the
purpose of the study and test the study hypothesis,
the researchers used the analytical descriptive
methodology and statistical package for social
sciences (SPSS) , including arithmetic mediations,
standard deviations and ANOVA. And to collect
the necessary data, the researchers prepared two
questionnaires which were valid and reliable
with coefficient 95% and 94% and then they were
distributed to the sample of the study which was
30 principals formed 50% of the population and
101 teachers formed 30% of the population. The
principal questionnaire was formed of (45) items
divided to four axes: Manageria Planning, Technical
Development, Human Relations and Curriculum
Development. The teachers' questionnaire was
formed of (35) divided to four axes: Managerial,
Technical axes, social and innovation. By analyzing
the collected data, the study revealed:
1. The degree of practicing the principals of the
secondary schools their supervision tasks in
salfeet governorate schools from the principals
and teachers viewpoint at statistical level
(a≤0.05) was high degree
2. There are no significant differences in both
responds of the principals and teachers of
secondary schools in Salffet Governorate at
statistical level (a≤0.05) toward the degree
of practicing the principals of the secondary
schools their supervision tasks attributed to
the variables (Sex, Age, Scientific qualification,
Period of service , and specialization). In
the light of study results, the researcher
recommended the following:
♦♦ Facilitate communication between principals
and instructional administration at Ministry of
Education.
♦♦ Increase the administrative powers of principals
to look after the talents and enable them to join
lessons in the higher classes.
♦♦ Hold workshops and make presentations of
ideal classes using developed techniques for
teachers.
