The Attitude of Public Schools’ Teachers in Nablus Governorate towards the Annual Performance Report for the Year 2010- 2011.

This study aimed to recognize the attitude of governmental schools teachers
in Nablus Governorate toward the annual performance report of the year
2010- 2011. It also aimed to identify the reality of these trends in the light of
the study’s variables (Gender, specialization, education, years of experience,
and school level) . The study’s community consisted of all teachers in the
governmental schools in Nablus for the year 2010- 2011 whose number was
2500 teachers from both sexes. The study’s sample consisted of 230 teachers
from both sexes who were selected using the random stratified method.
The researchers used the descriptive approach and designed a
questionnaire to collect data which consisted of 46 paragraphs and covered
three areas (academic, human and administrative). The tool’s validity
and consistency were checked and was then distributed among the study’s
sample members. The data was analyzed using the arithmetic mean, standard
deviations, analysis of unilateral variance and (T) Test.
The results of the study revealed that the trends of teachers in
governmental schools toward the annual performance report were low; they
also showed that there are no statistically significant differences regarding
the teachers in governmental schools toward the annual performance report
that are attributed to the variables of (specialization, education, and years
of experience). However, there were statistically significant differences
according to the gender variable for the favor of males, in addition to the
school level variable for the favor of the low and secondary levels.
