Effectiveness of a Counseling Program in Developing Some Forms of Positivity and Its Impact on Quality of Life Among a Sample of Adolescents in the Governorates of Gaza

The study aimed at examining the extent to which a counseling program is effective in developing some forms of positivity and improving the quality of life among a sample of adolescents in the Governorates of Gaza. The Sample was divided into two groups in this study, an experimental group and a control group. Every group included 15 students. The tools of the study took the form of two scales, Positivity Scale and Quality of Life Scale. The study showed the following results, the two scales scores showed statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental groups and the control group after applying the counseling program, in favor of the experimental group. There were statistically significant differences between the means in the pre and post-test in the scales of positivity and quality of life, in favor of post-test. There were no statistically significant differences between the means of the post-test and the follow up test of the experimental groups in the positivity and quality of life scales..
