This study sought to reveal the trends among Islamic education teachers towards employing modern technologies in teaching in Ajloun Governorate during the academic year 2019/2020. The study included a random sample consisting of 56 male and female teachers from schools in Ajloun Governorate. An analytical descriptive approach was used in the study. A scale of trends was also developed which contained 24 paragraphs. Statistical methods were used for verifying the validity and reliability of the scale. The scale was applied to the members of the sample. The results indicated the lack of statistical differences in the attitudes of Islamic education teachers towards employing modern technologies in teaching due to the variables of gender and experience. However, there were differences attributed to the variable of the academic qualification.
In light of these results, the researcher recommended the need to increase awareness of Islamic education teachers on the importance of employing modern technologies in the teaching of Islamic education, which would reflect positively on their attitudes. Moreover, the study recommended conducting further studies on the topic for its importance.
