The Level of Application of Total Quality Management (TQM) Standards at An- Najah National University from the Perspective of The Faculty Staff.

The study aimed to investigate the level of application of total quality
management (TQM) from An- Najah National University faculty members
point of view. It also aimed to find out the effect of the variables of (age,
professional rank, teaching experience, professional qualification, and the
college) in the application of comprehensive quality management.
The population of the study consisted of (176) faculty members, the
random sample represents (%50) of the population, representing (77) faculty
members equal to (%87.5).
The researcher used a validated a questionaire which consisted of (85)
items distributed into seven domains. The study concluded to the following
results:
1. The degree of application of TQM among al Najah faculty members was
medum, it’s mean was (3.45) which represents (%69).
2. There were no significant mean differences for applying TQM among the
faculty members related to the variables of (professional rank, teaching
experience, professional qualification, university of graduation) while
there were significant mean differences attributed to age in favor of
less than (30) years. Moreover there were significant mean differences
attributed to college in the fields of (students, educational administration,
and faculty members) between Al Sharea’a college and other colleges in
favor of other colleges. Also the study recommends that the University
administrators should cooperate with the faculty members in order to
participate in students’ selection, guidance and increase their awareness
of university regulations and rulesDownloads
