Motivations of Achievements and their Relation with the Levels of Emotional Intelligence among Students of the Arab Open University in Jordan

This study aims to explore the relation between emotional intelligence
and achievement motivation of Arab Open University students /Jordan
branch.The sample of this study consisted of (201) students in four faculties:
Education, IT, English Literature, and Business. Two scales were used: The
“Bar On” scale for emotional intelligence, and the achievement motivation
scale that was developed by the researcher.
This study’s findings indicated significant positive correlation between
emotional intelligence and achievement motivation among the sample of
study.
There were significant negative differences attributed to gender and
faculty across the emotional intelligence and achievement motivation
measurement scales. The study was followed by some important
recommendations
