The Quality Management of Work Pressures Facing Teachers by the School Administrations from the Perspective of Teachers

Quality management of the principals of secondary schools in the
northern West Bank for the work pressures on teachers from their point of
view.
The study aimed to determine the level of quality management of the
principals of secondary schools in the northern West Bank for the work pressure
imposed on teachers, and to find out the relationship of each of the variables
(sex, academic qualification, years of experience, school location) on the
responses of the members of the study sample towards quality management of
the principals of secondary schools in the northern West Bank and the work
pressure on teachers.
The researcher used the descriptive method for the appropriateness nature
of the study using a questionnaire which consists of eight domains distributed
to a sample of (112) teachers in secondary schools Governorate Qalqilya,
north of Palestine. The data were analyzed using (SPSS). The results showed
that the level of quality management of the principals of secondary schools in
the northern West Bank and the work pressure on teachers was high in terms
of percentage (%73.8). The evaluation of functionality of the teachers got the
highest rates of responses, followed by the domain of effective leadership,
then the domain of improving working conditions, and then regulating the
relationship with the community lies in the domain of motivation and the field
of differences in the work, and finally the field of human culture in the work
lies in re-designing of jobs.
The results showed no statistically significant differences at the
significance level (α = 0.05) in the responses of the members of the study
sample towards quality management of the principals of secondary schools
in the governorate of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank .It also showed
that the work pressures on teachers are attributable to the variables of sex,
academic qualification, years of the experience, and location of the school.
The study came up with the following recommendations:
1. The need to conduct awareness sessions for the principals of schools to
deal with the pressures of work.
2. The need to train teachers on how to manage pressure at work and warn
them of the danger of its continuity.
3. The need to strengthen the relationship between the school and the
community through certain activities
