The Reality of the Educational, Behavioral and Emotional Problems of Blind Students in the Jerusalem Governorate From the Point of View of Their Mothers

Objectives: Study aimed to identify the reality of educational, behavioral and emotional problems of blind students in the Jerusalem Governorate from the point of view of their mothers.
Methods: Study objectives, the descriptive approach was used, where the study sample consisted of 60 blind children in the Jerusalem Governorate and was chosen by simple random method, used questionnaire on learning problems for blind students.
Results: learning problems related to the blind student were at an average level, the arithmetic mean of 3.17 and a percentage of 63.4%. The results related to the behavioral problems that the blind student suffers from as perceived by the mother in the Jerusalem Governorate, they were at an average level, as the arithmetic mean 3.25 and the percentage 65% indicated that the emotional problems that the blind student suffers from in the Jerusalem Governorate as perceived by the mother were at an average level, arithmetic mean 3.32 and percentage 66.4%.
Conclusions: Paying attention to the educational necessity of adopting a new advanced philosophy in teaching this group, through the possibility of developing special curricula that suit the needs of blind students of physical, sensory, mental, cognitive, educational and professional aspects.
