The Role of Secondary School Principals in Improving the Organizational Climate from the Perspective of the Educational Guidance Supervisors at Amman and Zarka District

This research aimed at investigating the role of secondary school
principals in improving the organizational environment from the point of
view of the educational supervisors at Amman and Zarka District in the light
of these variables: education (diploma, bachelor and above) , sex, and years
of experience (below five years, and above five years) .
A questionnaire was made to measure the researcher’s outlook
concering the role of the principal in imroving the organizational
environment. It consisted of (72) items, covering the following subjects:
the policy of positive relations at school, organization administration
affairs, school relationship with the community, students’ affairs and their
educational needs, the relationship of principal with his supervisors and
school buildings and equipments.
The research concludes that the most practiced elements in the role
of the school principal in improving the organization environment from
the viewpoint the supervisors were as follows; the relation ship between
the principal and the bosses, administrative affairs, schools buildings and
equipment, the positive relations at school, student affairs and their needs,
the relationship between the school and the local community, and finally
teachers’ affairs and their occupational developmentDownloads
