Palestine) in reinforcing and developing youth capacities in Palestinian
society. The researcher used the descriptive approach, and constructed his
own questionnaire to measure the objectives of the research.Reliability
and validity of the questionnaire are verified, and then the study was
carried out on a sample of 1000 students: 720 female and 280 male.
Subjects’ responses are analyzed through arithmetic means, standard
deviations and one way analysis of variance (t.tets) .Results show that
the QOU role in reinforcing and developing youth capacities is high. The
study also reveals that there are statistically significant differences due
to sex in favor of female and current position (job) in favor of employee,
but there are no statistically differences due to marital status, and place
of residence. In the light of these results, the researcher suggests some
recommendations that increase opportunities of enabling and developing
youth capacities by highlighting or giving attention to personal and
leadership skills, follow up after graduation, political life, other skills as
developing their English and computer abilities, and set some programs
that help students to develop their characters and self confiden ceDownloads
