Challenges Facing Students at Tafila Technical University

This study aimed to identify the academic, health and financial problems
facing Tafila Technical University students.The study sample consisted
of (300) students (176 male and 124 female) .They were chosen using a
stratified random sample.The study results indicated the existence of financial
and academic problems respectively.The most common problems were: the
presence of more than one exam on the same day, the high prices of books,
and lack of cleanliness of health facilities at the university, the shortage of
the specialized doctors in the clinic and the availability of medicines at the
university’s pharmacy.The results indicated also that there are no statistical
differences in the problems facing Tafila Technical University students
attributed to gender and interaction between gender and college.
