The Effect of Using the Method of E-learning in Teaching Science on the Achievement of Learners at Al-Quds Open University

This study aimed at discovering the effect of using the method of elearning
in teaching Science on the achievement of learners at Al-Quds
Open University. The population of the study consisted of all the learners
at Al-Quds Open University in the second semester of the year 2008/2009
traditional way. Research Methodology approached were : experimental
and descriptive. The ( T-test) & ( Man witeny-test ) were applied after the
collection of all data to detect the effect of using e-learning by comparing the
means of the achievement test and the e activities and the assignments for both
groups: the experimental and the controlled. The results of the study showed
that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≤ 0.05 )
between the two groups in the achievement test and the e activities and the
assignments in favor of the experimental group ,and there were statistically
significant differences between the two groups due to the gender variable, in
favor of Famle .
Yet there were no statistically significant differences between the two
groups due to the gender variable .
