The Effectiveness of Al-Quds Open University Students in Using the Techniques and Skills of the Open Education.

The scope of this study is to give an approximate and clear idea about the
open education in order to inject the concept of open education in the minds
of the students through the skills, techniques and strategies of open education
which are divided into five scopes, the scopes give us more clearance and
understanding about the open education; the study also tells the students how
to use the open education system.
The study gives replies which are related to the following questions:
1 - What are the abilities of Al-Quds Open University students in using the
open education systems?
2 - What are the degrees of the five scopes of open education?
The study consists of 1890 students, the researcher has taken a random
sample from the size of the study society which is near about 5% and related
to the (gender, academic programs and the level of the study, the researcher
used list of forms especially for the study which was dealt with Licart Scale.
The following results were issued from the study:
1 - An appearance of the study results, that there is a good understanding,
which is related to the open education and academic supervisors, the study
shows the supervisors good ability in using suitable study methods which
are so matching to the system of open educationئ
2 - The study indicates that the students have weak ability in using the modern
technological methodsئ
3 - The study indicates that the most effective results of open education trials
are by using the following methods and percentages:
A suitable open education methods, it has scored 81%. The open education
has been understood by students. the degree level of understanding
was 77,8%.
b - Understanding the role of the academic supervisors and their important
supervision reached the level of 73,8%.
c ≠Using other educational methods for the study courses which reached
the degree level of 73.4%.
d - Using the modern technological techniques, this reached the degree
level of 64.6%.
4 - The study shows the female student skills are higher than the male student
skills and activities.
5 - The study shows that the students realization of the skills of open education
methods are more in the fourth year than other previous yearsئ
6 - The results also indicate that the students of computer program are more
active in using the Open Educational Methods and Techniques.
7- The study results indicate that there is clear relationship of the students and
the skills of open education techniques; the study also shows the ability of
the students in using good study methods and other modern technological
