The current study aimed to reveal the level of academic intrinsic motivation, and to investigate the relationship between distance learning environment with academic intrinsic motivation, and the extent to which the distance learning environment predicts academic intrinsic motivation among Jordanian universities students under Covid-19.The study sample consisted of 680male and female students from Jordanian universities. The data was collected through using the distance learning environment scale, and the academic intrinsic motivation questionnaire, where the descriptive correlative approach was used. The results showed that the level of internal academic motivation among Jordanian university students was high, and that there is a positive correlation between the distance-learning environment and the academic intrinsic motivation among students of Jordanian universities. In addition, distance learning environment has an impact on predicting the academic intrinsic motivation of Jordanian university students. The study suggested some recommendations related to the content of distance learning environments, where training activities were designed to keep pace with distance learning.
