The Level of Professional Allegiance of Academic Supervisors to Al-Quds Open University

This study aimed at identifying the level of professional allegiance of academic
supervisors to Al-Quds Open University. The impact of some variables
such as the professional position, years of experience, program, education
level, age on professional allegiance level for academic supervisors were
identified.
In conducting and constructing the study the researcher used the field
descriptive methodology. The population of the study was all the academic
supervisors at Al- Quds Open University. totalling 177 academic supervisors.
One tool was used to collect the data, and it was a questionnaire designed
by the researchers. The questionnaire formad of(32) items, that cover three
dimensions related to (allegiance to: the university, the learning process,
colleagues).
In order to analyze the data, the mean was measured, and a t-test and the
one way anova were used. The results indicated that the level of professional
allegiance was extremely high (the mean level was 3.56). It was also concluded
that there were a statistically significant differences at the professional allegiance
level with respect to the professional position among full time academic
supervisors of QOU, The results also indicated that there were no statistically
significant differences at the professional allegiance level with respect to the
years of experience, type of program, the educational level and ageDownloads
