Evaluating the Roles and Functions of the Academic Supervisor in the Supervisory Process of Researches and Graduation Projects of the Students Of A.O.U.

This study aimed at evaluating the roles and functions of the academic supervisor in the supervisory process of researches and graduation projects of the students of A.O.U. Also to identify the importance of these functions and to what extend they were performed, in order to improve the competencies of the academic supervisor and recognize the students with these functions.
A random sample of (60) students was chosen from the five areas of A.O.U. in Gaza strip. the researcher applied a questionnaire included four domains.
Different statistical techniques were used for inducing and processing the results.
The results of the study showed the importance of the roles and the functions of the academic supervisor, and the shortage in performing these roles at the suitable form.
According to the results of study the author concluded some useful recommendations, to enhance the roles of the academic supervisor.
