The Level of Al-Quds Open University Administrators’ Possession for the Features of the Creativity Process.

This study intended to show the level of Al-Quds Open University
administrators’ possession for the features of creativity process. The study
answered the following main question:
What is the level of creativity process (personal characteristics, creative
culture, creative behavior, creative methods) which the administrators at Al-
Quds Open University in the northern districts possen?
The study population consists of all the directors of the education regions
and study centers and their academic and administrative assistants at Al-Quds
Open University in Palestine (north districts) in April, 2007. The number of
these directors and their assistants is 38 – all holding a Ph. D or an M. A.
To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher used a questionnaire
consisting of 70 articles distributed over areas after evaluating its validity
by and its overall reliability which reached (0.98) by using Cronbach Alpha
Equation, where its overall reliability reached( 0.98).
The study showed the following findings:
1. All forms of the creativity process possessed by administrators at Al-Quds
Open University (north districts) got a high overall rate of 78%.
2. The forms of creative administrative behavior came top at a rate of 81%.
3. The high results in all areas are attributed to Ph. D holders at an overall
rate of 83% and an overall rate of 73.2% for M.A holders.
