The Degree of Appreciation among Al-Quds Open University Graduates in the Directorate of Jericho and The Jordan Valley to the Services Provided by the University

This study is intended to show the degree of appreciation among Al-Quds
Open University graduates in the Directorate of Jericho and the Jordan Valley
to the services provided by the university. This study answers the following
main question:
“What is the degree of appreciation among Al-Quds Open University
graduates in the Directorate of Jericho and the Jordan Valley to the academic,
administrative and psychological services provided by the university in the
Directorate of Jericho and the Jordan Valley? “
The study population consisted of all Al-Quds Open University graduates
in the Directorate of Jericho and the Jordan Valley in the academic years
2004/2005 and 2005/2006 (123 graduates) from different specializations and
academic programs.
To achieve the goals of the study, the two researchers used a questionnaire
consisting of 51 articles distributed over three fields after making sure of
its validity by arbitration and stability by using Cronbach Alpha Equation,
where its overall stability reached (0.92)
The two researchers used the following statistical analyses: the arithmetic
averages, the standard deviations, and the percentages for each article and
the overall degree for each field to answer the study questions. This study has
the following results:
1. All service fields altogether got a very high degree of agreement at a
rate of 85%.
2. The field of psychological services came top at an overall rate of 91%.
3. The field of administrative services came second at a rate of 83%.
4. The field of academic services came third and last at a rate of 81%.
5. The study concluded many recommendations, the most important of
which are:
♦♦ To ensure that the university administration and employees to
improve the quality and quality control continuously.
♦♦ Academics urged the supervisors to raise the degree of their
cooperation and communication with the students to achieve their
needs and satisfaction.
♦♦ To raise the level of university degrees to accept constructive
