This study, entitled "The Qur'anic Precautionary Legislation to Protect the Family from Divorce: A Thematic Study", throws light on the precautionary legislation to protect the family from divorce and the separation of parents. It also shows the unique, integral procedure of the Holy Qur'an in limiting family problems before they even take place through fours approaches. The first approach is Qur’anic legislation to protect the family from divorce before marriage. The second is after consummation before the problems arise. The third is after the problems arise, and the fourth is at the time of the divorce when the dissolution of marriage contract happens. The researcher used the scientific method of inductive within the thematic interpretation. It turned out that legislations came organized in the Qur'an according to the chapters and verses of Qur'an.
